The QED Avalon range is a distinctive selection of contemporary, flat glass display counters. It is suitable for coffee shops, bakers, patisseries, restaurants, corporate catering, schools, hospitals and many more types of outlets.

QED Avalon serve-over and self-service counters are available in a wide selection of coloured laminate and wood veneer finishes, with complimentary composite marble worktops.

The Avalon counters include ample glass shelving with low energy LED lighting, refrigerated storage and reliable temperature ranges for sandwiches, patisserie, chocolates, ice cream, heated and ambient food displays.

There are 4 standard counter widths: 1200, 1600, 1800 and 2400 mm, with depths of 810 and 910 mm. Special sizes can also be made to order. The tops and doors are double glazed for higher efficiency and there is independently controlled refrigerated storage on all units.

The Avalon range includes matching multi-deck display cases (traditionally known as dairy cases), spot merchandising units and fully double-glazed patisserie counters, all of which can be produced in the same colours and styles as the coffee shop counters to create a complete colour-coordinated retail environment.

Avalon counters are designed to maximize the appeal of food displays, whilst at the same time providing high standards of hygiene and temperature control to comply with all current food service regulations. In addition, damage to the flat glass can be replaced quickly, unlike the waiting time associated with curved glass counters.

The Avalon range is manufactured in Britain and distributed by QED. Based on customer’s own drawings, we provide a design and installation service throughout the UK using a national network of shopfitters and refrigeration engineers.
